Garden Nasturtium (Tropaeolum majus) Tropaeolaceae ~ Nasturtium Family This cheerful flower festoons gardens and fences from late spring throughout the summer. Look closely at the flowers, as they not only vary in background colors and lining, but the petals are fringed. Nasturtium grows especially well in coastal climates, and in some locations becomes weedy.
